Summer in review

I want to take a minute to journal some of this summer's happenings, or atleast what comes to my mind at the moment. Here we go:
  • Logan turns 3 years old and instantly morphs into a corvette-driving, rubber-burning NASCAR maniac. (This phase of life was cut unnaturally short when the powerwheel was stolen from our front yard 2 months later.)
  • Baby Cadrien is born, followed shortly by the birth of baby Peyton.
  • Logan learns the art of riding a "two-wheeler" bike faster than lightning. He enjoys a few rocks in the forehead and helmet lectures from grandma in this learning curve. He also becomes a scooter pro.
  • We lose a phenomenal man and dear friend, Erik Rudy to a sudden Leukemia relapse. We all miss him very much. We love you Emily.
  • Brad and Grandpa work long, sweaty hours at the "project rennovate" house and turn trash to treasure.
  • This new treasure is broken into and all of our tools get stolen. The cops later recovered most of our goods!
  • Brad and his dad take time to rip it up as usual in Vegas and on the race track for a long weekend.
  • Brad plans and presents a motivational seminar in Idaho Falls that became a personal family victory. He presents the same seminar in Missoula the next month.
  • I get to spend a weekend with my girlies in Utah for a fun reunion.
  • We relish in the annual Harker cabin vacation and in our little bro. Mikey's return home from his mission to the Phillippines.
  • I took on a Parade of Homes project for Downeast Home.
  • Rachel and Tyler tied the knot on August 9th!
  • Logan and I join Brad for a "family adventure" during the month of September.
